Our Location

Military Recharge is based in Des Moines, Iowa, providing retreats for military families all over Iowa and the Midwest. Retreats take place at Hidden Acres in Dayton, Iowa.

How it got started

Military Recharge was started in 2018 after Carrigan's father was last deployed. As a highschooler, she saw firsthand the effects of deployment extend beyond the service member to the family. Military personal face increased pressure as they protect our country and freedoms which directly impacts their marriage and families. Military Recharge aims to strengthen and encourage military families.

"Military Recharge was such a refreshing weekend to spend with our family focusing on how to grow as a couple and as parents, while giving us time to do some fun things together. What a blessing that everything was provided for us and we could just focus on being together and learning how to live more like Jesus!"
